This Soil Ninja blend combines the perfect levels of chunky aeration with medium moisture retention. The coarse elements of Bark, Zeolite, Lava Rock and Perlite mean there are plenty of air chambers in the mix perfectly suited to the medium/thick roots of Monstera and Philodendron.
Tropical plants like moisture but not muddy soil. The aggregates in this blend help to create a loose, well-draining mix which avoids dense soil conditions, a key contributor to root rot and other overwatering issues.
